On the back of the bag it only gives for adults and children over 6 years old ,so how much do you give your dog and cat?

Pour colostrum in warm water and mix until smooth or sprinkle the powder on food, or as directed by a veterinarian. Amount may be adjusted depending on need and size.1-10 pounds 1/2 tsp twice daily
10-40 pounds 1 tsp twice daily

If a dog has a beef allergy can they still take this colostrum?

My dog has a beef allergy. My vet cleared her to take this. Beef has nothing to do with Colostrum. A dairy allergy would be a problem though.

How's this different from the other colostrum?
Best Answer: There is no difference in our formulas. We did add a new bag to address pet owners who don't use colostrum themselves, preferred a separate bag for their pets, AND to assist our veterinarian clinics that have colostrum within their practices to wished a pet label to reflect pet use and not human use.

I have a Bichon Frise with the worst skin problems. He's 10 years old and has suffered from allergies and biting of his skin til he's raw all over. I've tried many things from the vet and natural supplements too. I take Colostrum and when I saw an ad from Sovereign for Colostrum for Pets, I wondered why I'd never thought of giving him some of mine. I purchased the Pet version and began giving it to him. He loves it! It took 3 months of consistency but his skin is now perfect!
My dog suffers stomach discomfort at times from her medication.This product has worked awesome. I mix in a little water and my dog loves. I give as directed. Her bloat and gas has calmed extremely. I have been giving to her for a couple of months now. This product came recommended to me. Definitely glad I gave the benefit of doubt to try.
